Mays Landing firefighters honored for rescuing trapped resident

Several Mays Landing firefighters were honored for their rescue of a trapped occupant from an apartment fire in January.
The firefighters entered the apartment Jan. 16, and were able to get the occupant out, who was turned over to emergency medical staff and made a full recovery days later.
Assistant Fire Chief Ken Badger Jr., Capts. Robert DeBiaso and Matthew Robison, Firefighters Mark Jenigen and Nathan Harring, and Imagery Specialist Ken Badger Sr. were honored.
“The Mays Landing Fire Department is proud to have dedicated members that put the life of our residents and visitors over their own, no matter the dangers they may face,” the department wrote of the honor.
