An Egg Harbor Township teen ran from a Pleasantville strip club after being beaten by three men, according to affidavits obtained by BreakingAC.
Irving Mayren-Guzman, 19, was escorted out of Centerfolds Cabaret by security personnel at about 3:36 Sunday morning, according to the affidavit.
Three men also left the club, security video apparently shows, including Pleasantville brothers Garnell and John Hands.
Garnell Hands Jr., 29, then got into an argument with Mayren-Guzman, while in the parking lot.
Hands punched the victim in the face with a closed fist, the affidavit claims.
John Hands then also punches the victim several times in the face and body, the video allegedly shows.
Jamaul Timberlake, 30, of Atlantic City, then is seen punching the teen in the face and body, the affidavit states. He also kicks Mayren-Guzman several times in the face and body while the victim is on the ground.
The three men then go back inside Centerfolds while the victim is outside with security personnel. It is not clear where security was at the time of the assault.
After a few minutes, Mayren-Guzman is seen running away from the business east on Delilah Road toward Atlantic City.
Mayren-Guzman’s cause and manner of death is still pending the release of the autopsy results. It has not been categorized a homicide at this time.
The owner voluntarily closed Centerfolds, for now, BreakingAC has learned, despite other media reports saying police or the city shuttered it.
The city is attempting to revoke the liquor license, but that process is ongoing. Alcoholic Beverage Control is expected to visit next week. The ABC does not confirm or deny investigations, a spokeswoman told BreakingAC.
The Handses and Timberlake were arrested Wednesday night. They are in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on charges of aggravated assault and conspiracy. They are expected to have detention hearings next week.
Timberlake is a registered sex offender, listed on the public site. It has no details about his prior conviction other than it is from 2003 when he would have only been 12 years old. He is listed as a Level 2 moderate offender. Not all Level 2 offenders are listed on the public site. A private hearing is held that determines whether a person’s information is posted there.
