A man and woman have been arrested for allegedly setting fire to an occupied residence in Somers Point.
Faith Tompkins, 18, and DeShaun Howard, 21, are charged with aggravated arson, criminal mischief and conspiracy.
The two allegedly set fire to a home in the 100 block of West Dawes Avenue just before 4 a.m. Wednesday.
All occupants were able to escape without injury, Chief Robert Somers said.
No motive for the fire was given.
Tompkins and Howard were arrested Thursday. Both are being sent to the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending detention hearings, Somers said.
NOTE: The Atlantic County Justice Facility does not release mugshots under a previous order by the former prosecutor.
