Cab passenger killed in Atlantic City crash

A taxi cab passenger died in a crash early Sunday morning in the area of Atlantic City's Walk.

The cab and a Tesla collided at the intersection of Arctic and North Missouri avenues at about 3:40 a.m., according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.

The cab, driven by Mohammad Shamsuddin, had four passengers at the time of the crash.

Almir Pachariz, 49, of Yorktown Heights, N.Y., was pronounced dead tat the scene.

The Tesla driver, 25-year-old Michael Anthony Gay of Sheboygan, Wisc., was taken to the hospital, along with Shamsuddin, 46 or Atlantic City, and his remaining passengers.
