A Bridgeton man wanted for hindering the investigation in the killing of a Millville 16-year-old is now in jail.

Nashaloni Harris, 21, was arrested Monday morning, jail records show.

He is charged with destruction of evidence, hindering and obstruction.

A second man, 20-year-old Alvion Harris, faces similar charges. He was arrested July 6 in Jefferson City, Missouri, and is awaiting extradition.

It was not clear how or if the two Harrises are related.

Bridgeton police responding to Mount Vernon Street at 8:50 p.m. June 25 found a 16-year-old Millville boy dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

The prosecutor announced the arrest of a Bridgeton 16-year-old for murder June 30

Six days later, a second 16-year-old was arrested by Bridgeton police and Prosecutor’s Office detectives, and is facing the same charges, Webb-McRae announced last Tuesday. He is also charged with destruction of evidence, hindering apprehension and obstruction of the administration of the law.
