Atlantic Cape Community College is getting ready to bring its baseball team home.
The college's Buccaneers have been traveling to practice for years after the current field fell into disrepair.
The "Bring it Home" renovation campaign was born, and the groundbreaking is set.
The public is welcome to join Atlantic Cape staff, faculty, student athletes and alumni, as well as dignitaries from Atlantic and Cape May counties, donors and members of the college’s Board of Trustees at 2 p.m. Thursday.
The groundbreaking will be at 5100 Black Horse Pike by Parking Lot 5 next to the Rutgers Lifelong Learning Center.
Light refreshments will follow in the Rutgers lounge.
