Galloway driver was under influence of marijuana in EHT crash, police say

  • News

A Galloway Township man is charged with driving under the influence in a crash police say was related to marijuana use.

Aden Gallegos, 20, made an abrupt U-turn on Westcoat Road at about 6:45 Saturday night when he crashed with a car driven by 30-year-old Taylo Radcliffe of Northfield, Lt. Mark Mensch said.

Gallegos was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's Mainland Campus in Galloway, according to the report.

He was also charged with the DWI and numerous motor vehicle violations, including careless driving and reckless driving, court records show.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Police said this serves as a reminder that a driver can be charged with DWI while under the influence of marijuana.

The crash is being investigated by Officer Thomas Rizzotte Jr.
