An 8-year-old was airlifted to the hospital after being injured in a one-car crash in Hamilton Township on Saturday evening.
An unidentified Egg Harbor Township was driving on Mays Landing/Somers Point Road when her Chrysler sedan went off the roadway near mile post 13.5 and struck a tree, police said.She had three juvenile nephews in her car. One, an 8-year-old in the back seat, suffered a possible fracture to his femur and was airlifted to Cooper Trauma Center in Camden, according to the report.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash is under investigation by Officer B. Hanley. No summonses have been issued at this time.
