Firefighters are on the scene of a blaze on North Carolina Avenue in Atlantic City.
There was
heavy fire on the first floor of the three-story home on the first block of S. North Carolina Avenue, said Fire Chief Scott Evans.
The first floor was gutted, he said.
Smoke from the fire could be seen blocks away.
No further information was immediately available.
