Atlantic City police are looking for a resident linked to nine convenience store robberies.
Eric Smith, 40, is one of nine people charged in connection with a total of 15 robberies in the city, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. Smith is the only one who is not in custody.
City police have responded to an increase in robberies over the past several months, Fair said. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Section have investigated all of the robberies and more charges are expected.
Seven adults and one juvenile have been arrested and charged with robbery and other related offenses.

Michael Falls, 34, of the city, has been charged in two separate robberies.
The seven adults have been taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility. The juvenile is housed in the Harborfields Juvenile Correction Center in Egg Harbor City.
