A Pleasantville man is charged with being an accomplice to murder in a fatal shooting in September.
Rasheed Hines, 29, of Egg Harbor City, was found shot multiple times near the intersection of Linden and Merion avenues just before 5:15 p.m. Sept. 10. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Less than a week later, Robert Terrell was charged with hindering apprehension for "driving a vehicle to the scene of a homicide with the shooter in his vehicle then transport(ing) the shooter to another location."
He was arrested Oct. 26, at the Shamrock Hotel in Atlantic City, and jailed on $75,000 bail.
But this past Monday, Prosecutor's Office detectives charged Terrell with accomplice liability for acing as "an accomplice of a yet unidentified individual to commit the murder of Rasheed Hines."
His bail was increased to $500,000 full cash without bond.
He could face 30 years to life for the accomplice charge and three to five years for the hindering.
