A bicyclist was killed in a crash Tuesday morning on Route 40, police said.
Michael Daregentile, 61, of Mays Landing, was riding east on Route 40 when he was struck by an eastbound car driven by Matthew Bramble, 25, of Newfield, Gloucester County.
Daregentile, who was wearing a helmet, was struck in the area of New York Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bramble was uninjured.
The accident is under investigation.
