An Atlantic City man being questioned in a September shooting was arrested Tuesday with a loaded handgun, police said.
Tarik Jones, 18, was wanted for allegedly obstructing justice in an investigation into a shooting on Sept. 19.
Officers Anthony Abrams and Franco Sydnor saw Jones at South Carolina and Baltic avenues, who tried to pull away as they took him into custody, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
After handcuffing him, they found a loaded handgun in his waistband, according to the report.
Jones was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon in addition to the obstructing charge. He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $100,000 bail.
