Bomb threats at two AC locations turn up nothing

Nothing was found when police and sheriff's officers searched an Atlantic City apartment complex and the courthouse following a bomb threat Monday. Police got a call at 11 a.m., reporting s bomb at the Atlantic County Superior Courthouse and Carolina Village Apartments, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. City officers and the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office investigated the threats, but found no evidence of a bomb located at either location, Fair said. "We appreciate the cooperation of the residents and public during this investigation," he said. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 609-347-5766. Information may also be texted anonymously to tip411 (847411) beginning the text with ACPD.
