Two alleged MS13 gang members — including one charged with murder — were arrested Friday in Galloway Township.
Jose Manuel Romero-Parada and Williams Ernesto Lovos-Ayala, were captured in the 300 block of Moss Mill Road, the FBI announced.
Lovos-Ayala was wanted on murder charges for a 2015 killing in Prince William County, Virginia, according to the report. No details of that crime were released.
He is being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending extradition to Virginia.
Romero-Parada, formerly of Indianapolis, was one of 15 people recently indicted in Ohio on charges of conspiracy to extort and launder money in support of the transnational gang, the FBI said. He is also wanted on kidnapping-related charges out of El Salvador.
He is being held at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia pending extradition to Ohio.
The FBI was assisted by Galloway and Atlantic City police, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office, New Jersey Human Services police and the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Inspector.
