EHC man seriously injured in Hamilton Township crash

A man was seriously injured Friday in a crash at the Atlantic City Expressway exit onto Wrangleboro Road in Hamilton Township. Marissa Realdine, 18, of Runnemede, was exiting the expressway at Exit 12, when she failed to see oncoming traffic, according to police. Realdine entered Wrangleboro Road north into the path of Edwin Maldonado, and the two cars crashed, according to the report. Neither Realdine nor either of her passengers was injured. Maldonado, 36, of Egg Harbor City, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's Mainland Campus with serious injuries. Hamilton Township Rescue, Galloway Rescue and AtantiCare medics assisted at the scene. Traffic was diverted for about one hour. The case is being investigated by Officer Longo.
