Ahmaad Williams, 23, and Yahshaun Stukes-Williams, 20, were arrested after members of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Unit, and the Atlantic County Regional SWAT Team searched the home at 810 N. Maryland Ave. on Monday, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said.
The warranted search also found more than $800 in cash and drug-distribution paraphernalia, Tyner said.
Stukes-Williams was inside the residence at the time, and arrested without incident, Tyner said
He is charged with first-degree maintaining and operating a controlled dangerous substance production facility, along with several other drug offenses, along with hindering apprehension and hindering apprehension of another, his cousin.
Ahmaad Williams turned himself in at about 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. He faces the same chargers as his cousin.
Stukes-Williams is one of several men charged in an altercation last year that led to a deadly shootout on the Atlantic City Expressway.
Stukes-Williams and his father are both charged in that case.
That battle allegedly started with a disagreement between Stukes-Williams and another man, Devan Leggette, inside the bathroom of the Mays Landing courthouse on Aug. 29, 2016.
