A Port Republic choir director accused of sexually assaulting a student twice a week for the past three years has been ordered held pending trial.
Brian McSee, 53, was the boy's seventh- and eighth-grade teacher as well as the victim's choir director at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said.
A week-long investigation by State Police from the Tuckerton station found that McSee had been having some sort of sexual contact with the boy twice a week for the past three years.
Detaining McSee was important for the boy's safety since the two live close to one another and McSee "entered the victim’s home uninvited on Dec. 2, 2017," Chief Assistant Prosecutor John Flammer said.
If anyone has any information regarding inappropriate behavior or interactions by McSee is asked to call the Tuckerton Station Detective Bureau at 609-296-5807.
