  • News
Two people were killed in a crash on the Black Horse Pike in Hamilton Township late Monday afternoon, police said. Lorri Thomas, 45, of Collingdale, Pa., was traveling east  on the Black Horse Pike near milepost 38, when the car crossed the center line for unknown reason just before 3 p.m., and crashed head on into a westbound car driven by Carol Badgley, 52, of Seaville, police said. Thomas, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. Badgley and her 85-year-old father, Robert Badgley, also of Seaville, were taken to the Trauma Unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City. Robert Badgley later died from his injuries. Volunteer firefighters from Collings Lakes, Weymouth and Laureldale, along with the Hamilton Township Rescue Squad, AtlantiCare paramedics and AtlantiCare Medical helicopter assisted at the scene. Traffic was delayed for several hours. The crash is still under investigation.
