A Malvern, Pennsylvania man was arrested this week in a 2015 crash that killed two people, including his wife.
Albert Tolley was allegedly trying to improperly pass another car on State Highway 49 in Estelle Manor when he struck a car driven by Karen Kunak head on, according to acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Diane Ruberton.
The July 11, 2015, crash occurred around milepost 47.5.
Kunak's 72-year-old husband, Joseph Kunak, was killed along with Tolley's wife, Suzanne Tolley, 61.
An investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office and the State Police led to criminal charges against Tolley, now 63, last month.
He is charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, along with motor vehicle summonses, including reckless driving, improper passing and failure to maintain a single lane.
Tolley was indicted on the vehicular homicide charges last week, and arrested on Thursday. His arraignment is for Monday.
Each count carries a potential sentence of five to 10 years in prison.
