  • News
A Galloway Township woman was arrested for drunken driving after three children were injured in a car crash Sunday night. Kelly Ryan, 30, was driving down Lombard Street in Hamilton Township when she went through the stop sign at Cologne Avenue and crashed into a car driven by Jamie Thrunk-Pomaro, police said. Five juveniles ages 7 to 12 were also in Thrunk-Pomaro's car, all of Galloway Township. An 11-year-old boy was seriously injured and had to be flown to Cooper Hospital. A 12-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl were both taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus in Atlantic City for serious injuries, according to the report. Ryan was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana. Additional charges are pending further investigation. The Hamilton and Galloway township rescue squads, Cologne Fire Company and AtlantiCare medics assisted at the scene.
