Some medical records unavailable as part of investigation into EHT doctor

  • News
The investigation into Dr. James Kauffman means some of his patients' medical files are temporarily unavailable. But, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said "every effort is being made to complete the investigative process as quickly and efficiently as possible." "Any files that are deemed to have no evidential value will be returned as soon as is practicable," Tyner said in a written statement. "Those files that are kept as evidence shall be copied and those copies shall be returned in a similarly expeditious manner." If there is an emergency, patients are asked to call the Prosecutor's Office at 609-909-7800, and leave their name, contact information and nature of the emergency and "we will do our utmost to accommodate your needs," Tyner said. https://breakingac.com/kauffman-to-stay-jailed-pending-detention-hearing/
