A man wanted In the killing of his father in Pennsylvania was arrested on the Atlantic City Boardwalk on Friday.
Michael Marchalk, 37, is accused of killing his father in Ryan Township, Schuylkill County.
Early this week, Atlantic City police were told Marchalk may be traveling to Atlantic City.
At 11:45 a.m. Friday, he was seen in the 1600 block of the Boardwalk and arrested by Sgt. John Waddell and Officers Armani Rex, Kerry Dunbar, Alim Adams and Camren Johnson of the Tourism District Unit.
Marchalk previously made statements that he was not going to be arrested and would attempt suicide by cop, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
But he was arrested without incident and taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending extradition to Pennsylvania.
