A Philadelphia man was arrested Wednesday after Atlantic City police found two handguns and crack cocaine in his hotel room.
The city's Special Investigations Section operation led police to a room in the Knight's Inn on Albany Avenue, where they found the drugs and two guns, including one that was stolen, Capt. James Sarkos said.
The room was registered to Eric Jones, 22.
He was arrested and charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, receiving stolen property, possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute, possession within 500 feet of a public place and possession of a weapon while committing a drug offense.
The investigation was led by Detective William Warner.
Jones was being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
