An Atlantic City man was indicted Wednesday in the 2016 killing of a man inside his home.
Steven Loughney, 28, was found shot to death at about 9:45 p.m. inside his residence on the 200 block of South Metropolitan Avenue in Atlantic City.
An autopsy found he died of a shotgun wound to the right groin.
A nine-month investigation found Loughney was the target of a robbery of drugs.
Kevin Quince, 27, of the 900 block of Baltic Avenue, was arrested Oct. 5, and has been held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility since.
On Wednesday, he was indicted on charges of murder, felony murder and robbery, along with conspiracy and weapons, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said Thursday.
His office has not commented on possible accomplices or what type of drugs were involved.
Quince was on probation for a 2015 heroin charge when arrested, court records show.
