The woman who helped Donald Trump become president is a product of South Jersey.
That part of Kellyanne Conway's life is part of the "polished telling and retelling of her story," writes
the Philly Voice's Kevin C. Shelly.
But what's left out, it seems, is any mention of her late maternal grandfather, James DiNatale. "Perhaps," Shelly writes, "because he was better known as Jimmy 'The Brute' DiNatale, an alleged mob associate."
He didn't live with the family in Atco, but in nearby Hammonton, "the blueberry capital of the world." So, it might be worth mentioning that the now-counselor to the president's Secret Service code name is Blueberry.
While it seems no one else has reported this part of Conway's story, Shelly does in detail, including input from respected mob writer George Anastasia.
