City and county detectives are helping investigate three possible arsons at the same home in the past two weeks.
"It appears to be suspicious and of a human act," Fire Chief Scott Evans told BreakingAC on Monday. "They could be related."
The latest fire burned the home on the 800 block of North Drexel Avenue, and a car parked in the driveway just before 5 a.m. Monday, Evans said.
The single-family home has been unoccupied since construction began on having it raised in October.
There was a structure fire at about 5:30 a.m. Friday, when it appears someone also set a fire near the car, Evans said.
At that time, firefighters learned of an April 24 brush fire at the home that a neighbor extinguished without reporting, the chief said.
The Atlantic City Police Department, Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office and state fire marshal are assisting, Evans said.
Fire Capt. Mike Famularo is leading the investigation.
