Former Atlantic City worker gets probation for stealing All Wars money

  • News
The former building coordinator for Atlantic City’s All Wars Memorial Building who admitted to stealing money meant to rent meeting rooms was sentenced to probation Friday. William
Hadley, 56, of Egg Harbor Township, was given three years of probation and must repay the city $3,350. He also had to surrender his job. Hadley admitted that he took money orders from five residents who were renting rooms at the Adriatic Avenue building known to many as the Old Soldier’s Home. He then deposited the money into his own personal account. Hadley pleaded guilty to a charge, and therefore was not indicted.
