  • News
One driver was injured in a Hamilton Township crash Thursday morning. Police responded to Route 50 just north of Oak Street in the township's Laureldale section shortly after 7 a.m. Jasmine Schumaker and Andrew Jepson were both headed south on Route 50, when they somehow impacted each other, according to police. Schumaker, 24, of Mays Landing, had minor damage to the front of her vehicle and stayed on the road. She was not injured. Jespon, 58, of Lower Bank, was off the roadway and had heavy damage to his entire vehicle, police said. He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's Mainland Campus in Galloway Township for treatment of lacerations to his face and upper body. The Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad, Paramedics, Atlantic City Electric, and the Laureldale, Cologne, and Mays Landing volunteer fire companies all assisted with the incident.
