The Somers Point Apartments were surrounded by police Friday evening.
Chief Michael Boyd said he couldn't comment as the situation was still unfolding Friday night.
But a resident said it was sparked by a neighbor who was drunk and had a gun.
A back door was shot out, said the witness — who asked not to be identified for safety reasons.
