An Atlantic City was arrested with a handgun and heroin after a month-long investigation, police said.
Rashawn Sanderlin, 18, was arrested after police searched a home on the 1800 block of Arctic Avenue just before 6 p.m. Tuesday, and found a loaded handgun and 510 bags of heroin, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
The warrant was obtained after an investigation led by Detective Brian Hambrecht.
Sanderlin is charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon while committing a drug offense.
He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
