Dunkin' Donuts has plans for Ventnor, the lawyer who got their approvals says.
The free-standing location with a drive-thru got site plan and variance approvals for the corner of Portland and Ventnor avenues, Eric Goldstein said.
“They’d like to get going to improve that corner, which was once an abandoned garage/service station,” he told BreakingAC.
Goldstein did not have a timeframe for the construction.
The Dunkin would be open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., he said.
“This is a boom to the Ventnor community and to all of the island,” Goldstein said. “It’s great for the tax base to have a new commercial structure going up.”
He did not have details on cost.
Goldstein said he hopeful that the interest from a corporation like Dunkin' Donuts will invite other commercial development to look at Ventnor.
