A Bridgeton man has been charged in two bank robberies more than three months apart.
The OceanFirst Bank on Harding Highway in Hamilton Township was robbed Tuesday morning.
Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect, who was wearing similar clothing to the suspect in the July 13 robbery of the TD Bank on Cornwell Drive in Bridgeton.
In both cases, the suspect gave the teller a note and fled.
A joint investigation by the Hamilton Township police, New Jersey State Police and the FBI led to the suspect being identified as Thomas Allen, 52.
He was found at the Days Inn in Vineland on Thursday, and arrested without incident.
He is charged with two counts of second-degree robbery, and one count of theft. He is being held in the Cumberland County Jail.
