Several fire departments helped put out a warehouse fire in Hamilton Township on Monday.
Police responded to the SIG Warehouse at 5176 Harding Highway just before 6 a.m., when they found heavy smoke coming from the main storage warehouse, police said.

One employee who was on scene at the time of the fire had minor injuries and was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s Mainland Campus in Galloway Township.
Mays Landing, Laureldale, Cologne, Mizpah, Bargaintown, South Egg Harbor and Cardiff Fire Departments responded to the scene and assisted with extinguishing the fire.
The Westmont Fire Company from Camden County also responded and deployed their mobile ventilation unit to assist with removing smoke from inside the warehouse.
The investigation revealed that several pallets of a foam manufacturing material had caught fire, however the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Mike Robison at 609-625-2700, ext. 578.
