A woman accused in a violent stabbing that left one woman dead and the victim's husband wounded will have a detention hearing next week.
Rollie Ellis, known as Queen, is charged with murder and attempted murder in the attack on a couple inside their apartment at 3 S. Iowa Ave.
Jennifer Rodriguez, 34, fled to the police station across the street Wednesday morning. She was found unresponsive in the lobby of the Public Safety Building, which also houses the Municipal Court and the Fire Department's administrative offices.
Ellis, 28, of Pleasantville, allegedly forced her way into Rodriguez's apartment inside the building that has been plagued by issues, including heavy drug activity and a shootout.

Rodriguez was able to break away from her attacker and run across the street. Ellis then allegedly began stabbing Rodriguez's husband, Raphy, also 34. He was able to climb out a window and flag down police on Iowa Avenue, across from Tony's Baltimore Grill.
Ellis was briefly in court Friday for a first appearance, where she was told there would be a hearing to see if she will be held pending trial.
She has been in the Atlantic County Justice Facility, and has at least one pending drug charge from last year, according to court records.
