  • News

A North Carolina man was arrested in Atlantic City after he allegedly robbed the GameStop and assaulted a worker.
Mecca Aduzambique, 43, allegedly gave the clerk a handwritten note to give him all the $100 bills, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
When the victim refused, Aduzambique tried to open the cash register himself and, when he couldn't, he assaulted the clerk, according to the report.
Aduzambique then grabbed the clerk's backpack and ran.
Detective Dembe Baako found Aduzambique inside of the New Jersey Transit bus terminal in the 1900 block of Atlantic Avenue at 2:22 the next morning.
Aduzambique had the victim’s belongings when he was arrested, Fair said.
Aduzambique, 43, was charged with robbery and sent to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Atlantic City police at 609-347-5858. Information may also be texted anonymously to tip411 (847411), beginning the text with ACPD.
