Two men arrested after an Atlantic City shooting were indicted by a grand jury this week.
Azaiah Grisom, 19, is charged in the Dec. 5 shooting that wounded a 20-year-old man in the 700 block of Wabash Avenue.
Grisom was indicted Tuesday on charges of aggravated assault and various weapons offenses, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said.
While Atlantic City’s Violent Crimes Unit was investigating, they found various substances inside the apartment, including about six pounds of marijuana, 70 wax folds of heroin and three bags of crack cocaine, Tyner said.
Detectives also found drug-packaging materials and a bag containing 19 rounds of live ammunition.
Donte Ford, 23, who lived in the apartment, has been indicted for second-degree possession of more than five pounds of marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute, and third-degree possession of cocaine and heroin with the intent to distribute.
Grisom remained jailed in the Atlantic County Justice Facility. Ford was released on a summons.
Both are now awaiting arraignment.
