An Atlantic City man accused of running a drug-production facility with his cousin pleaded guilty this week.
Ahmaad Williams, 23, was arrested with his cousin Yahshaun Stukes-Williams in December, when Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner said more than 1,000 bags of heroin and almost 4 additional ounces of unbagged heroin was seized.
Williams admitted that from October to December of last year, he maintained an apartment at 810 N. Maryland Ave., where heroin was processed, packaged, repackaged and labeled for sale.
Stukes-Williams' plea was
announced by Tyner earlier in the week. He faces five years in prison after pleading in both the heroin case and for possession of a weapon during a deadly shootout on the Atlantic City Expressway in 2016. He must serve 3½ years of that sentence before he would be eligible for parole.
The cousins remain jailed. They will be sentenced Aug. 31 before Superior Court Judge Donna Taylor.
