Atlantic City came out in full force for a Community Day at Pop Lloyd Stadium on Saturday.
The day included bounce houses, laser tag and a book bag giveaway.
"The turn out and support today was amazing," said organizer James Pressley. "It makes me feel great bringing people together to better our community."
"I was pleasantly surprised," said Ed Ryan, of GreenLife Energy Solutions, who said he has been working together with Pressley on "many community action type projects."

"James really is good with the boots on the ground work, and is connected to the community," he said.
Pressley was able to garner enough donations to get 500 book bags filled with school supplies. As the line stretched down the field, volunteers tried to match bags to the age group.
But the event was so popular, they still ran out.
This is just one of several events planned, those involved said.
"We do it for the youth," said Jason Smart-El.
"James and I were talking about ramping up our community efforts to do more good things in the community," Ryan said. "It really feels good to be able to give back and help the community that could use it."
