Stockton to hold first public job fair Tuesday in Atlantic City

  • News
Local job-seekers can visit a lot of potential employers Tuesday. More than 80 Atlantic County-based companies are registered to participate in Stockton University’s first Atlantic City Gateway Career Fair at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The job fair will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and is free to the public. No registration is required. Potential employers include Atlantic County government, Hard Rock, the City of Atlantic City, Bass Pro Shops and several casinos. In addition to employers ready to hire, there will also be services to help area residents find training and employment. Participants should bring multiple copies of their resumes. Parking at the Convention Center is $15. Hourly parking is also available at the nearby Wave garage and there is metered street parking in the area. “This initiative is a great way for all of us to show our continued commitment to Atlantic City and the surrounding communities,” said Brian Jackson, chief operating officer for the Atlantic City campus, which will open in the fall.
