A man and woman were arrested in an armed robbery that left a teen naked on an Atlantic City street Monday, police said.
Officer Anthony Alosi arrived on the 100 block of North California Avenue just before 2 a.m. to find the 18-year-old Mays Landing man naked.
He told Alosi he had been robbed of his belongings and clothing by a woman with a knife and a man with a gun, Sgt. Kevin Fair said.
A brief investigation by Officer Marinela Pali led to the identity and the arrest of the two suspects, Fair said.
Pali and Officer Michael Gunsser found Kasheema Valentine in the Fox Manor Motel, 2707 Pacific Ave. Juan Maldonado was found in the 2600 block of Atlantic Avenue by Pali and Officer Michael Oldroyd.
Maldonado, 36, and Valentine, 23, both of Atlantic City, were charged with robbery, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and conspiracy. Both were being housed in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
