An Atlantic City man was arrested after police found an assault rifle in his car during a stop, police said. Robert Bostic, 44, was pulled over just before noon in the 1900 block of Atlantic Avenue, Sgt. Kevin Fair said. After an investigation by Sgt. Andrew Leonard and Detective Darrin Lorady, they searched the vehicle and found a loaded AR-15 rifle and materials used to package and distribute narcotics, according to the report. Bostic was arrested without incident, and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility. Bostic's previous convictions show drug and assault charges.
