Bridgeton man rear-ends Hamilton Township police car

A Hamilton Township police officer was injured when his patrol car was rear-ended early Sunday morning. Officer R. Brady was traveling west on Mays Landing-Millville Road when a car driven by Marshawn Sudler crashed into him, police said. Sudler, 23, of Bridgeton, lost control of his vehicle and struck the rear of the patrol car, causing significant damage to both vehicles, according to the report. Both men were wearing seat belts. Brady sustained minor injuries and was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for treatment. Sudler was not injured. Sudler was charged with reckless driving, careless driving and driving an uninsured vehicle. He posted bail for the warrants and was released.
