A man was arrested with 224 grams of crystal meth in his car after fleeing a stop in Galloway Township, police said. An officer tried to pull over Jordan Ragland in the area of Robin Lane and Aloe Street at 2:11 p.m. Sunday, police said. Ragland allegedly tried to flee by driving behind Absecon Mills, where he struck a storage container. He then kept driving and was arrested at the end of Robin Lane, where he surrendered, according to the report. K-9 dog Rocky responded and searched the vehicle, where he found the methamphetamine, police said. Ragland, 26, of Absecon, was charged with eluding, possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute and obstruction, along with multiple motor vehicle violations. He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
