A man and women were arrested after they allegedly robbed a cab driver in Somers Point.
The driver picked up the couple in Pleasantville on Saturday, and was asked to stop on Shore Road, police said.
The man, later identified as Arcides Torres, grabbed the driver around the neck and choked him while the woman, identified as Precious Muhammad, removed his wallet and cell phone. according to the report.
Torres, 25, of Atlantic City, and Muhammad, 22 , of Somers Point, were charged with robbery and aggravated assault.
They are both being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
