A Galloway resident was injured in an accidental shooting Saturday night.
Police were called to the 500 block of South Pitney Road at about 6:45 p.m. for a shooting, police said.
They arrived to find the unnamed victim with a wound that was determined to be self-inflicted from Sig Sauer .357 handgun owned by the victim, according to the report.
Police applied a tourniquet to control bleeding and the victim was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus by the Galloway Township Ambulance Squad.
The injury is not considered life-threatening.
