An Egg Harbor Township man has been indicted for allegedly running a drug production facility out of the Clayton Mill Apartments in Absecon.
Ismael Martinez, 33, was indicted on eight counts, including possession of about three kilograms of heroin and more than a half-ounce of cocaine, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon Tyner announced Tuesday.
In addition to the drugs, investigators searching 403 Clayton Way on Oct. 27, found cutting agents, weighing scales, rubber bands, thousands of wax paper folds, heat sealable bags, blenders, measuring cups, sifters, stamp pads, gloves, masks and other drug paraphernalia used in the manufacturing of drugs, Tyner said.
The charges include possession within a school zone and two counts of maintaining or operating a drug production facility.
The investigation was conducted by Absecon and Pleasantville police with assistance from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Guns Gangs and Narcotics Unit.
