Vineland man arrested in connection with investigation into woman's killing

A Vineland man has been arrested in an investigation the killing of a woman whose remains were discovered in Cumberland County earlier this month, State Police said. Dennis Parrish, 52, was arrested Thursday at an Absecon hotel and is charged in the desecration and moving of Tonya Cook's remains. Cook's remains were found July 2 in Lawrence Township. No one has yet been charged in her killing. Parrish is being held at the Cumberland county Jail awaiting a detention hearing. This case remains an active investigation.
