Overturned tractor-trailer closes road for hours in Hamilton Township

  • News
A tractor-trailer overturned in Hamilton Township on Monday morning, causing traffic to be diverted for about five hours. The 2008 Peterbilt semi-tractor with trailer operated by Robert Breunig of Tuckahoe was heading east on Millville Avenue when it failed to negotiate the curve at Pittsburgh Avenue, according to a preliminary investigation. The trailer struck a utility pole before overturning and striking the guard rail and a tree, police said. The trailer came to rest in the roadway, partially in the woods. Traffic was diverted around the area for approximately five hours while the crash was investigated and the scene was cleared of debris. No injuries were reported. However, if a tractor trailer accident had occurred then it's important that the injured try and contact a personal injury lawyer for help and support with a case. The crash remains under investigation by Officer Bakker, and motor vehicle charges are pending.
