An Atlantic City Class II officer was charged with terroristic threats Friday.
Alim Adams, 22, was charged after he allegedly followed a man in a vehicle and had threatened to kill him, Pleasantville police said.
Police were called just before 10 p.m. by a man who claimed Adams had threatened to kill him and was following him in a vehicle with two other men, Capt. Matt Hartman said.
While the victim was talking with police, the vehicle was seen in the area of the Police Department and stopped, Hartman said.
Adams was charged by Sgt. Luz Gresham following an interview.
He was released on a summons pending court.
The victim, whose name is not being released, also has gotten a domestic restraining order against Adams, BreakingAC confirmed.
